I manage to autotune the channels on my cable tv, in the small picture that showing the picture from the channel, the picture are good. When i am finished with the autotuning and other configurations i try click "MY TV" i got the picture, but the pictures stops, and than cuntinue and stops... and so it goes. It looks like the card are not strong enough to show the live tv, but i know it is.

if i try to get fullscreen tv picture, everything stop working except from the tv picture. I am not able to click anything. So i have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to escape from MP. Everything else is working. I have tried both 1.3 and rc2, same result. Under Win XP MCE and Nvidia's own forceware multimedia the tv is perfectly shown.

Can one of you great gurus out there help me ? Is this an configuration issue? Am I lacking something? Please I don't want to use the very limited Bill Gates MCE.

    Got it work !

Got it to work now, but i am not sure what I did. I change the picture quality from high to medium. I just have analog cable so a high quality would not be of any use for me anyway.

I got another problem tough when i installed the newest CVS Build, the tv picture are grey (notting to see except the grey box)
The strange thing is that if i start WinXP MCE after MP i getting the same grey picture there. That is pity, because i like the new CVS and what it did with MP. Anyone knows anything about this ?

What is your CPU usage like when you get the "chopy picture" - is it hitting 100%?

Have you tried changing the video render to VMR9? I think that your video card is below spec, so that might be contributing to the problem, too?

Have you tried using a video decoder (like NVIDIA) that uses DxVA to reduce the CPU load?

    Thanks for helping me out

I am very thankful for your advice, and i will try them out, and get back to you with the result though i got it to work with a lower quality. If my videocard is below spec, why it is working fine under Windows XP MCE ?

    Thanks again !
