Hi

I have been using MediaPortal for few days now, and out of all the PVR types i've tried this seems the best!

Its now time to buy a DVB-T card for recording (in the UK)

I have spent 5 hours going through the forum, searched the "supported" section, then go back through the forum and find things wrong with most of them!

Can you please tell me what works on your system with mediaportal without any problems.

As i'm buying a new card, and i really want to use MediaPortal, i want a trouble free system (well at least for recording from the TV guide, just select and let mediaportal do the rest!).

The card can be USB or PCI, i have semperon 2200 running 768Mb ram.

Thanks for your time!

Regards

Gary

The Hauppauge Nova-T works well for me! Quite cheap and pretty stable if you get the right drivers!

Make sure its the 90002 model Nova-T though (as some shops will still flog the 2 year old one) because the old model has no driver support anymore (rebadged technotrend card).

Think i will get the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T USB 2.0 External?

Unless these are not as good as the PCI version?

I will get it from Amazon UK as they should have the latest PCB designs in them?

    Regards
