Hi Good Folks!

Just rummaging thru old stuff and found an ATI REMOTE WONDER with the RF receiver someone gave me but I never used. I could not locate original Driver CD for it. I installed the recomended X10 drivers in the Remote section of the configuration for MP. That is about where I am at. I can't get it to work at all. To be honest I have only ever used a Microsoft Remote which was really easy. I have no clue how these work. Anyone have some tips or a link to some advice I can read up on how to set these remotes up to work with MP? I have done some searching but no luck so far. Any tip would be great...thanks!

I've got one of those beasts laying around. The X10 driver on the MediaPortal site is only the interface to the remote wonder driver. You need to get the RF driver from the ATI site. There are a few versions of the Remote wonder so you need the correct driver. I've added a link for the remote wonder II driver page. Once the driver is loaded you'll know if it works because the cursor pad will control your mouse.

That driver seems to work great thanks. I just need to figure out how to get all the buttons to work in MP. So far I can press the A button on my Remote and start up MP. I did this in the ATI Remote Wonder options. I can use the arrows to move up and down and select OK on a movie and it will play. I just can't use Pause or Stop buttons. I am not not quite sure how to use the Learn function in MP. The wiki page doesn't have a lot of info.

    thanks again

Hello. I have and use the same remote. If you have all the drivers installed properly all you need to do to enable it in MP is select "Use general HID device" in the remote section in MP config. Then you need to assign a button on the remote to the Escape key in the ATI remote driver config. You should be able to use it fully in MP after that. BTW the ESC key is so you can go back on menus in MP.
