Help wanted with MPTV Series please! (1 Viewer)

Have the feeling I'm in the wrong place.....but...
Keep on getting the following error.....

Please ignore the Ferrari....!

As you can see....I have a lot of entries....but am struggling to discover which entries are causing the problem.
Is there a help page....I'm going crazy!!!?

House of Fools \ Season 1 \ S01.Christmass ... Does not contain Episode ID

Correct forum would be Plugins -> MPTVSeries

AJS response totally covers why you see the problem, but it's more than that - MPTVSeries is not parsing the file name/path correctly.

What you need to do is enter the Series name by hand [Columbo], the season ID and episode numbers - which you can't as I've had quick look on TheTVDB.com and the episodes are not listed as 'real episodes' - these are YouTube videos as I understand it, not specials [season ID 0].

So untick any selections [not just those visible in screen shot if you have more] where they missing Season and/or Episode exist, anywhere you note the actual series name and the series name in MPTVSeries is different and proceed.

When you get to next level, check the actual series identified is the one you want - example, BBC series Taboo, name Taboo has 2 matches

IF you find you've imported incorrect data, just go to Details tab, select the series and Delete from drop down - then select Delete from database, then you can re-import & correct any errors.

To solve the YouTube video issue, recommend you hop over to the MPTVSeries forum and check out the FAQ.

RoChess's MPTVSeries is totally brilliant but it can only go so far for 'non standard' items.

Thanks fellas.....Unfortunately, I included a 'random' screenshot there.
House of Fools was never going to work anyway, as it was un-ticked....and not included in scan (I hope!)

BTW.....I'm not importing anything from YouTube.....

Hi

Specials have SeasonID ID of 0, the Episode ID is as per listed on TheTVDB.com [you will see listing as Special 1 2 3 4 .... for Season].

Example, Doctor Who (2005), Christmas 2016 special is Season ID 0, Episode ID 149.

Tiny typo there [as opposed to my posting on something else at weekend which was a complete & total typo -

File name should be House of Fools.S00E01.The Bobble Hat Affair.avi [leading zero needed for default regex rules].
