Help with External player In My Films (1 Viewer)

Hi
I have just started using Mediaportal and some of the great plugins but I am hoping someone can help me with some
questions.
I have my Dvds and Blurays catalogued using DvdProfiler which I import using My Films.
Some of them have ratings out of 10 and others do not, also the Fanart download for all movies in the global update
does not seem to work for me, it works fine if I download fanart for a single movie.
Can someone also give me an idiots guide how to get an external player ( Powerdvd ) to work when I press the play button
as all I am getting now please insert disc number with a yes or no button.
I was hoping that when I press play that the dvd drive would open, I'd put the disc in and close it and the disc would play.
Any help would be great.

Hi

I haven't tried it yet but perhaps you could put "x:\" (with x being your bluray drive) in your source tag of your bluray movie files.

Furthermore you have the possibility to say something like "retrieve label of dvd drive" (or something like that) in your AMCUpdater which retrieves the label of the inserted dvd on import and writes it into your database.
