Help with instalation (1 Viewer)

HI,

Im trying to install Media Portal 1.0.2, but it cant seem to find an internet connection when i start it.
And as i carry on it also end with a message saying 'There was an error downloading the requested file'

Any Help ?????:

When you are installing, there should be a list of activities the installation is performing. Maybe you can tell what it is trying to download while the installation is going on.

I know this has happened to me before, but I can't remember how I fixed it...haha sorry, I am sure this has happened to a few people.

Thats where i get the 'There was an error downloading the requested file' think its the first thing ............... :s:

One click instrallation on a fresh XP SP3 install + MS Updates etc.

Did you copy and paste that download url ?

It is missing a 'p', correct and working url is:

http://install.team-mediaportal.com/DeployTool/ApplicationLocations.xml
