First, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum.

I have Windows XP Pro and purchased an MCE Remote (2005 Version) to control my STB which is a Dish Network 322. I used the Replacement Plugin to learn the codes from the STB remote but when it blasts the codes back it doesn't change the channel. I've tried blasting from up close and far away. I've tried teaching the codes in a dark room so no light would affect the blaster and nothing. I thought maybe it was the remote and so I used a universal remote to teach it the codes and nothing. Then I tried to teach it the codes for my tv (an RCA) and the blaster doesn't change the channel there either.

I tried using the MyBlaster program to learn the codes and the weird thing is that I get a different code each time for the exact same number., e.g. when it tried to learn, I would press the same number and I would get back a different code each time.

What am I doing wrong? Does someone have the codes for a Dish 322 that would work?

So it didn't work with MyBlaster either?

Sounds like maybe IR transmitter placement. It has to be directly on top of the IR receiver on the device you're trying to control.

    Hope that helps,

MyBlaster didn't work either. When I try to program the same number into MyBlaster I get different codes each time.

I put the blaster right on top of the receiver and nothing.

Wait for the next version of IR Server Suite and try it. The IR learn/blast routines have been improved and might solve your problem.

Gimme a few more days to fix the 64-bit support and then there should be a new version of IR Server Suite.

    Cheers,
