I'm also a X10 user and had this problem too, when I had Vista on the HTPC for testing. MP's behaviour is absolutely correct in this case. The problem is Vista's own "remote control engine" which also interprets the key presses on the remote.You have to disable this stuff in the "Systemsteuerung" (Windows settings panel, don't know how it's called on an eglish Windows..). There in the device manager look for something with ...HID... and disable this device (don't disable the remote itself!).Sorry, if this is all very vague but it's been a while since I did it Maschine
