This is a HFX VISTA GP remote control, which is especially designed for the Windows VISTA Media Center (MCE) application. You can easily remote everything like your music, phostos. Live TV, movies, CDs and DVDs on your PC with this remote.

It includes an universal USB external receiver. It includes also a kit to rebuilt the external receiver into an internal receiver which you can please behind the front inside the PC.

The installation is very easy. Just connect it with internal or external USB. No software installation is required since Windows VISTA recognizes the remote automatically.

ok, so the above is from the mcubed site, it says native mediaportal support. I assume it mimmicks the official microsoft remote.

Are you guys aware of this remote? If i buy it, will it work without any HID, event ghost faffing about? I assume I will just have to tick MCE remote support in mediaportal?

Also will mptray recognise this as an "MCE remote" and the green button will launch MP without the need for any event ghost faffing?

    My media centre remote has just given up on me, so I'm looking at the alternatives. It does look like it mimics the microsoft remote, would be nice to know if it definelty works before buying one.

    kewl, i'll buy it when i need it in a couple of months! I'm on vista so should be plain sailling!
