This remote comes with a USB IR receiver that shows up in Windows as a HID device. I had the remote running quite well with the keyboard input plugin. The only issue was that I had to disconnect and reconnect the USB receiver each time Mediaportal started. After a completely clean installation of RC1, some keys like up/down apply twice for each single keystroke. In the past this was fixed by removing the keymap.xml file, which doesn't exist anymore. I read something abount removing the keyboard.xml file in the default input devices folder, but this is the place where the keyboard input plugin expects the file to be. My questions are: - How do I get the keyboard input plugin running with RC1? - Is there anything I can do that I don't have to reconnect the USB receiver each time Mediaportal is started? - Does anyone have a HID remote with IR server suite running? I don't understand that program at all. Thanks in advance for any answers. Regards, Sepp. [/QUOTE]
