Hide Mouse in MP - maybe this way? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm quite new in using MP but already happy with it. One little issue that bothered me was that the mouse cursor stayed in the middle of the screen when I called MP via remote controll. But I found an easy solution.

So my suggestion to developpers is: Why not include an option in MP that sends the mouse cursor out of sight to the lower right corner of the screen automatically whenever MP starts? Sounds easy to me. (But I'm no programmer...)

Sorry Ray,

I do use RC2 and cannot find an Option in MP-configuration in general options tab responsible for auto-hiding the mouse ...

Am I blind or which option do I have to activate to let the cursor disappear?

Its not selectable anymore, my understanding is, it is now set to "on" permanently for hiding mouse cursor.

Need to get some more confirmation on this, as i thouht it was fixed, especially as mine now hides nicely, which it was not doing pre RC2

My mouse autohides, but I would also like to see the option of having the cursor move away from the very centre of the screen too.
Sometimes windows does something that brings the mouse back, only for a few seconds but it's enough to ruin that part of the program being watched. IE, it really kills the HTPC experience.
Moving it to the side would make extra sure that it's not as distracting.

Hm,
my mouse doesn't autohide with RC2, no matter if I start MP by double clicking the icon or starting it with remote shortcut

I have the Silverstone MFP-51 (aka Soundgraph LCD) and the iMon iPAD remote running on XP 32Bit with SP3. The iMon software is running in the background (tray). Maybe that could be the reason?

Further system info is available in my profile. I could give more detailled specs of my system later this day, if needed.

My mouse isn't hiding either under RC2...

Hi all,

my mouse is hiding in RC2 until I start playing a video/series in fullscreen. Then it is visible for a short time in the center of the screen until it is hidden again.
I can't recall seeing this behaviour in RC1.
