Im using hierarchy groups for grouping films and their sequels. Ex:
saw \ saw
saw \ saw II
saw \ saw III
The problem is that, when downloading fanart from inside the GUI, it is downloaded in a folder called {.saw} {.saw.ii},... and then the fanart is not showed in the detailed view. The space after \ is changed for a . Can it be fixed?

I can confirm the behaviour - and have fixed it, will be included in next release.
But you could also use the grouping without the spaces before and after the delimiter - in that case the bug won't apply.

Those spaces are inserted by AMC updater when u mark the option "use folder as group"

ok, didn't notice that - so it makes sense anyway to support it then. As said above, it's fixed with next version.

    Hi,

is it possible to get a separate cover and fanart for each group eg. for SAW or Star Trek? If i select a group, perhaps in cowerflow there is alway the cover and fanart displayed of the first Film in this group. But i want to have a cover for the hole group independent of the films which are in there. The same for the Fanart.

    is this possible???

    Hi Dachkennel,
at least for fanart this should work - MyFilms created the grouping folder automatically and should display the content, if you put it into that folder.
For covers, I think it is currently not possible - but should not be too difficult to add that. It's mostly about thinking about a rule (e.g. using a cover with the group name from group cover directory by the same name - however, that code is not yet there - if there is interest, I'd suggest to add a feature request to google tracker.

    Hi,

ok but i dont get a fanartfolder especially for the group. I have only folders for the film in the group not the group itself

    for the "saw"-example:

    saw\saw I
    saw\saw II
    saw\saw III

    i get only the folders {saw.i}, {saw.ii} and {saw.iii}.
i miss a folder named only {saw} for adding the general fanart...

    Greets,
    Dachkennel

PS.: where can i find that "google tracker" for adding feature requests?

Hi Dachkennel - you should probably submit logs so Guzzi can figure out why you are not getting a group fanart folder, because it works for me, and for z3us as reported in the first post.

MyFilms Issue Tracker - for bug reports or feature requests (like the group cover feature ;) )

Log files are all in MediaPortal program data log folder, so in win7: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log

I would think Guzzi will need MyFilms.log and possibly your movie catalog xml file. It is best to record the exact steps to reproduce the issue, so in this case:
    1. Go to MyFilms
    2. Go to Saw group
    3. Download fanart for the selected film

Or something like that. Whatever you did that did not provide the group fanart folder. Then attach the log file.
