When playing some 720p videos, I noticed that they were stuttering really badly for some reason today and taking up 100% cpu, and the hard drive seems to go to 100%. They played perfectly in the past, even when I had a slower system than I do now. Could some svn update be the cause of this? They still play fine in media players other than media portal.

Sorry luke16, but do you really expect someone to help you? Are you serious? Not that I wouldn't want to help you, but I just can't.
See, you didn't give us information about...
- the SVN version you are using
- your hardware
- the videos that are stuttering so badly (container, codec, etc.)
- log files

Sorry, that's just insufficient information to solve the problem. Instead of bumping the thread three times, you could have fed us with with some information, huh?

Regards,
Simon

Sorry. I thought you could read my mind or divine it in some other way or manner.

Plus, I thought that system specs thing that I filled out was visible, which it should be now. I am using svn from a week ago, I think the codec is wmv high def or something, and my favorite food is rasberry sherbert.

--thanks

You need to be quite specific about the definition of the problem, and provide log files (which have been asked for earlier) .... :(

The more information you provide to define the exact problem, the more likely you are to get a useful response.

Don't just assume that the problem you are seeing is "well known" and somebody else will have the answer for you. It is most likely something unique about your setup that we can help you to uncover, but we can't do that without your input ...
