Hos do i search for movie ??? (1 Viewer)

i cant find a way to search for a movie. i have more then 10 networked drives setup
is there not a way i can search for a movie, and MP will look in all drives ?
or a plugin.


I don’t have a TV card, i don’t use the TV part of MP
Only TV Eps dl from net, and all my DVD's ripped so thy are in folders on drives in my network..

As long as you have already scanned the database (MP Config/Movies/Database/scan) then you can change the view to any view other than shares and you should be using the database.

Alternatively, you can install the moving pictures plugin, which handles browsing movies very well. Iuse this and it's great if you have a lot of shares of movies, it brings them all into one easy list.

thanks i see. nice i can now see the movies whit covers and stuff, hella nice
also installed the MP-TVSeries-2.0.765, what a bad boy that is .. really nice.
and i installed the indego 2.2 skinn also.. its beginning to go the right way, im almost happy whit the hole thing..

? moving pictures plugin, ? i dont see it here on the site under plugins.
i want to try it out, can you post link ??

What about ISO, can i get MP to play my DVD iso's ?

Yes you can - all my dvd rips are in iso format and they play great, however demon tools is required.

If you go into MP Config and expand the general settings there is a demon tools section.
There should be a check box to automount iso files, a box to enter the path of demon tools.exe and a box to enter the demon tools virtual drive letter. Set all of that and you should be good to go.

NOTE: make sure u are in expert mode in MP config otherwise you will not see these options - see button in top right of window to select between standard and expert mode.
