My latest struggle has been getting closed captioning to work. I am in the USA and get Comcast digital cable tv.2. I figured out how to connect the directshow &quot;CC decoder&quot; and &quot;line 21 decoder 2&quot; filters in graphedit to produce closed captioning in a popup &quot;Active Movie Window&quot; (I have attached file &quot;cc graphedit.jpg&quot; showing the graphedit filter graph). 3. I was trying to connect these directshow filters in media portal using TV postprocessing. When I do a remote connect in graphedit while media portal live TV is on, the &quot;line 21 decoder 2&quot;is there but not connected (I have attached graphedit filter graph &quot;remote connect graphedit.jpg&quot;). When I try to edit the line 21 decoder 2 filter properties in MP configuration, it pops up &quot;This filter has no property page&quot;. I was unable to find &quot;CC decoder&quot; directshow filter in the TV configuration postprocessing list. How could I add this to the list? It seems both of these filters are needed to make closed captioning work. I could not make it work with only the line 21 decoder 2 filter in graphedit.4.
