How can I play my LOCAL music videos ? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I was wondering how can I manage and play my local Music Videos.
I don't want to play online video clips, I have a directory of local stored music video files that I want to play - much like MP3 music, but - video clips.

I was trying the mVids plugin, but it was failed to import my files for some reason (I think the ffmpeg module crashed or something).

Is there any other plugin out there that can manage Local Music Videos ?
I find it very odd that I couldn't find any, after all the most popular usage of HTPC is: Movies, Music, Video Clips...

The way I have done this is to make the default folder in config (movies) the one with all my musicvids (Moving Pictures takes care of my movies ) Have also made a picture for each musicvideo (name the jpeg exactly the same as the videofile) So that I have some nice "posters" when entering

I have also changed the icon for the my movies shortcut to the old musicvideos icon (used for yahoo musicvids in the past I believe)

This way I have a Musicvideos icon in my home witch takes me to the folder containing my local musicvids..

dunno if this was what you were after, but I think it's a nice solution
