How do I choose AC3 Pid? (1 Viewer)

I receive Canal+ via FireDTV C/CI and some movies are sent with both stereo and AC3 sound.
MP 2.0 RC2 has found both the "normal" sound Pid (=665) and the AC3 Pid (=668) but I can't figure out how to switch to the AC3 Pid.
I have tried pressing 'A' - but nothing happens.

Could someone please help?

While you are watching fullscreen TV, press F9 (or the Yellow button on your MCE Remote) and then scroll down to "Audio Language" and select it - there you should see the option to select "AC3".

I have the option to choose "Danish" or "AC3" - the only problem is that it does not switch to AC3.

Is there something I could check to see what is happening to the AC3 sound?

Are you sure that AC3 is being transmitted at the time that you switched? Even though there is an AC3 PID identified, it doesn't mean that the TV channel is actually using it...

No, nothing else that I am aware of....

I have checked the program guide and there should be AC3 sound.

I have just applied the last CVS from 02-26-2006 01.01 - no change.

On some channels I can choose between different languages but I can't get AC3.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Solved.

I played around with different audio codecs and with Nvidia decoders and these settings: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?t=7495 is worked.
