How do I download the tv listings? (1 Viewer)

I just recently installed media portal to my computer. Everything I am sure is a go, but when I go to the tv guide, there is no data. Someone posted how to do it I think in another forum, but I really didnt understand what they were talking about. I've seen other places where it tells you to go to configuration and to epg grabber and click grab now... but that is no where to be found. Am I missing something?? I'm VERY new with media portal so any help would be great!

Welcome, for the US getting TV listings is a little trickier but not much. Follow this thread and get zap2xml or mc2xml and then enable the XML TV in MP.

ok I downloaded and installed the zap2it and created an account... honestly from there, I have no idea what to do.

In the thread I linked there are several links to examples. You ran zap2it and generated the output file? You followed the steps to import those listings into MediaPortal using the xmltv?
