Hi all-

I'm using MediaPortal 0.2.3 with a Windows MCE remote with all the default settings.

I apologize if I'm just simple, but I can't figure out how to do something. Let's say I start playing a video, then go back to the main menu, and fool around in some menus. How do I get back to playing the video full screen? If I need to change the mapping on one of my buttons, what action/window, etc. do I need to change it to?

Thanks,
Korey

I have the same problem, also with MCE remote... wil look tonight if you can change the buttons to bring full screen up!

Mce remote red button or x, neither help our American friend as he does not have either on his USA mce remote.

So he would need to change one of the buttons mapping to fullscreen video, so which one do you not use.

    Or use irserversuite.

Ah, the red button! Does anyone (who has a red button) know what action/window the red button maps to? Right now I've mapped a key to "Fullscreen Video" and that's basically working OK.

Ultimately, I figure, whether I'm browsing photos, watching a DVD, playing a video or listening to music, there should be a button (or buttons) to get me back to what I'm viewing from any point. I've mapped a button to the Music Now Playing screen for music, to Fullscreen Video for video, and I haven't figured out photos exactly.

Since I'm using a Harmony 550 remote, I'm able to map any unused button on the MCE remote (like record, since I don't use a tuner) onto a key on that remote. It would be odd to hit the record button to get to the Music Now Playing screen, but not as odd mapped to a softkey on the Harmony that says "Current Music".
