How do I get my WMC RC6 Remote to control Media Portal? (1 Viewer)

I installed IRSS 1.5.0.62. Got the STB to work but I am having problems with using my remote to do much. I can use the arrows and the enter button and the play button which acts like a toggle button.

Do I need to check the Microsoft MCE In the IRSS Plugin configuration menu? Do I need to run the Translator? I have added the remote in the Media Portal Control Plug In for IR server.

Which logs would be the most helpful, all the IRSS logs? The mediaportal logs? Run in debug mode and then post those?

Please try the following and see if you remote is working better.

If not, please attach IRSS log files.

Thanks so much for the help Chefkoch. So I gave what you mentioned a try and while it does seem to respond a little faster, it didn't allow me to use any buttons except the arrows, enter and the play button which acts like a pause toggle. Can you take a look at these logs and let me know if there is something that would help tell me what is going on?
