OK I've been struggling for ages and MP still can't do 100% proper gapless with BASS, Winamp or foobar. Try the 1st and 2nd tracks off Linkin Park - Meteora or Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. There is always a small gap.
However if you queue the songs up in foobar or Winamp (With MP3splice) there is no gap. Now looking at how MP uses foobar and Winamp if you create a playlist, or select a file in a folder it will seemingly create an internal playlist of the files to play. This playlist however isn't passed to foobar/Winamp. Only the current track is passed over. This means that foobar/Winamp cannot splice the tracks together to make a perfect gapless playback. If MP was to pass the whole queued up playlist over then I am sure it would be correct.
Can anyone help and implement this? (Preferably for foobar as Winamp with ASIO isn't stable on my machine).
