How do I record multiple channels on one CAM? (1 Viewer)

I have 1 floppydtv card in my system with an alphacrypt cam. I have heard and read something about the possibility to record/view more than one channel, as long as they are on the same transponder.
I can't figure out how I can see in MP what channels are on the same transponder. Do I have to create a list myself that shows which channels are on what transponder? Or can I view this somewhere in MP? The tv guide for instance?

I have edited the CAM setting in the config that allows for multiple channels on one cam (cam limit).

Hi Henk,

Set the CAM limit to 0.
Goto NL1 record the current program, go to the mini guide.
Now all channels that are on a different transponder are red and can't be watched / recorded.

Stupid question maybe, but how do I get the mini guide? I have no remote yet, so how do I get it through the keyboard?

When double-clicking in the live tv , I get a list (What's on Now), is that what you mean with mini guide?

BE AWARE that this will cause huge issues if you CAM is not able (hardware limitation) to decode more then one Channel at the same time.
please refer to the manual or the support hotline of your CAM to find out what the limit is.

basically this is the same screen as you get when you press the "channel" button in MyTV home

Okay, I know what window you mean. How can I see in this window what is on the same transponder? I only see a text that says which program is on, and on the right side there is a tv icon.

if a recording is in proress, and you have only one tv-card, then only the channels which are on the same transponder will have the green icon on the right.
those channels which are not on the same transponder and therefore are not tuneable, will have a red icon.
