Hi,

I am a real newbie to the system as I have just installed mediaportal. Although I believe I have tuned the channels when I go to MyTV I do not see/cannot access the channels. I have tried several times but just cannot access the channels. Any ideas for the newbie?

Go into TVServer setup\channels, if you select a station can it be previewed.

Do not use the setup wizard in Mediaportal, does not work.

Tell us what you have done to get TV working.

Hi,

Thanks for the speedy reply. Just after sending the post (and as a stab in the dark) I stumbled onto the TV Server settings and "accidently" got it to work configuring the channels. It's a pity the setup wizard doesn't work as it seems obvious whereas the tv server isn't (well at least to my thinking). I've noticed quite a few problems with the interface though (tetris doesn't work, recording schedules seem to get stuck between the current period - midnight) and features that would be nice (able to record a program continuously).

That said, even though it seems rough around the edges I do like the interface.
