Hi There

I would like to run MediaPortal in overlay mode, but i cannot find anyway to set it up.

The reason for my request is that my MediaPortal PC is also used as a normal PC, so i run the MediaPortal on the secondary display, which is setup to show "Full Screen Video".

On my old PC this was functioning without me even thinking about it, but now i got a new PC, and i cannot make MediaPortal run in overlay mode.

Please help, since i'm getting desperate

MediaPortal Version: SVN Rev10313
Windows Version: WinXP PRO SP2

Motherboard Chipset: nForce4
Video Card: WinFast Geforce PX7950 GX2

Overlay was an option only on older versions of MP. Was the old PC running an old version and you upgraded MP when you upgraded the PC?

Otherwise, can you set the second monitor as primary? This will only affect you if you play games though.

Well, it was running SVN 10212, so it was almost as new as this one.

It is not specifically overlay i want, but i want mediaportal to go fullscreen on the secondary monitor, just lige this: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?t=10928

I cannot switch the monitors, since the secondary is a palmbutler, which is a system that transmits the signal over the antenna, to all my TV's in the house.

This is not supported in MediaPortal, sorry.

You might wanna search the forums, some users worked around it. But expect major drawbacks, e.g. CPU jumping to 100%, sluggish performance and so on. Those other threads tell you more on that topic.
