How long untill we get the 1.0 release? (1 Viewer)

Yeah I know it's hard to predict, and it's bascially done when it's done, but is it possible to get an estimate for when it could be done? The reason why I ask is that I'm closing in on a reinstallation and I'm not sure if I want to do all that work in two weeks, and then again two weeks later for MP 1.0

So is it possible to create an estimate? 1 month? 2 months? 1st quarter of 2009?

If we make it very simple it's about 78% done from RC3 to 1.0 and since it's been what? 4 weeks to do that work it should be done at the end of next week.

But since the harder stuff often takes the longest I'm pretty sure it won't be done that soon.

So is there any chance we could get an estimate?

Yeah that's where I got my mathematical timeframe from

100/300 * (MP% + TVS% + Installer %) = Total project % (TP%)

5. nov - 10. okt = 25 days


25 / TP% * 100 = 33 days

33 - 25 = 8 days left

But as I said I wouldn't call this an exact science

As usual fixing the remaining 5% of problems will take 95% of the whole time

You forgot to multiply by the total combined length of these pieces of string, obviously adding the WTF factor and the WHY THE F DOESN'T THIS WORK factor
Or perhaps you are prescient?
