How much RAM recommended to dedicate for SQL? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i know you can specify how much ram MS SQL is allowed to use.
But what is the recommended size for it?
I am using a 1GB RAM disc for timeshift and have 1GB left, so i would like to limit sql not to use the rest.
( As fas as i read is will take as much as it can get )

Or is this something i do not need to worry about?

Never had a problem here, personally if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I set mine to 128Mb on my XP machine with 1Gb RAM running tv server and mp client.
