Hello mikeman Yes, but it is probable that you won't have the technical details necessary to add the channel. 1. Open TV Server configuration. 2. Go to the "TV Channels" section. 3. Click "add". 4. Enter the name for the channel up the top. 5. Click "add". 6. Select "ATSC" and click OK. 7. Fill all the fields (these are the details that I don't think you'll have). 8. Click OK. 9. Click OK. 10. Go to the TV channel mapping section. 11. Select your cable tuner up the top. 12. Select the new channel on the left and click ">>". You won't lose the channel names by rescanning. Yes, they were probably mostly found as "Unknown ...". The reason for this is that cable operators only seem to provide names for local digital terrestrial (ATSC) channels that the FCC forces them to rebroadcast on cable. The details for their other channels are delivered via an "out-of-band" mechanism that cable STBs can receive but non-CableCard PC tuners can't. Unfortunately there is very little that we can do about cable company behaviour. 1. Open TV Server configuration. 2. Expand the "<your server name here>" section on the left. You should now see your tuners listed underneath your server. 3. Select your cable/ATSC tuner. 4. Tick "tune QAM instead of ATSC". 5. Select the appropriate cable standard (if you're not sure, I'd try QAM standard). 6. Click scan. As I said previously, this should *not* overwrite the names that you've spent so much time entering. mm
