How to change channels while viewing a channel EPG (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

MCE2005 did almost everything I wanted, but then Vista came along and ruined it. Therefore, I switched to MP and I absolutely love it. Right now I've set up a tv client to watch tv and recordings on a client pc and it took me just about five minutes to get it working. Fantastic!

There's just one thing that anoys me and I hope someone can help.
I like browsing through the EPG per channel. For instance: I go to the first channel and can see what programs that channel will show that evening. Then I want to see the same for the next channel, then the next and so on. In MCE I could do this by simply pressing the channel up button, but in MP this doesn't work.

Now I saw that you can change a lot of settings in the remote control setup, but I don´t know where to begin. Does anyone have any ideas?

Highlight the channel name and select.

Thanks for the welcome! Setting up the tv-client was easy. MP/tv-server itself took some more effort, but nothing the threads in this forum and others couldn't solve.

I think you reffering to how you can watch the programs of a particular channel. This I figured out by highlighting a channel from the EPG on the left and by pressing select (just like MCE). But now I want to skip channels up and down from this view. In MCE you could do this by pressing channel up/down on this page.
