If your playlist path is outside of your music share you can at least set up another share which points to it and remove it via the context menu then.
This also gives a security bonus for accidential deletion: you have to go up from your default share and then enter the "playlist share" to remove it.

rtv, i think you understood the problem wrong.
i make a playlist that contains songs from several directorys and save it using the mp playlist editor.
i can load the playlist, edit it and resave (overwrite) it.
but there is NO CONTEXT MENU where i can delete playlists that are made inside mp.

Ah okay, so you need to activate "File menu" in configuration.exe

file menu is enabled in config. please try that yourself. make a playlist with mp, save it and try to delete the playlist inside mp. there is NO WAY to do that.
think this will be a very useful function. there is also no context menu available for the playlist overview.

Maybe you didn't understand what I was trying to explain:
The playlist will be saved to a file in the directory you specificed for all playlists.
With the added share you "physically" browse to the file (obviously in "shares view") and use the file menu there to delete the file which is named like your playlist.

at the moment all my playlists are saved in "eigene dateien\my playlists". so far so good.
i have no file context menu in the playlist section to delete them!!!
to delete it, i have to add the folder where the playlists are stored to the music shares and navigate back to the root of the music shares and then into the share where the playlists are located. THEN i can delete a playlist using the file context menu.
why not adding the file context menu to the playlist section inside mp.
that thing using the directory/share navigation is very cumbersome...
a function to rename playlists would be fine too.
