Manual Skipping Works Fine From Mytv|recordings I installed v1.0 rc1 and MANUAL SKIPPING WORKS FINE FROM MYTV|RECORDINGS if you configure things properly. I suspect it may have always worked but the previous instructions were wrong OR it's been fixed in v1.rc1. I'm using tv server (tve3) Here's what I did (tve3) (main point being that I set chapter skip for 'TVfullscreen' NOT 'Fullscreen video'!) 1) installed comskip (download and unzip file to c:\program files\comskip - didn't alter anything (yet!) Run 'TV Server Config' go to Plugins, tick ComSkipLauncher, then select ComSkipLauncher and set it to point to comskip.exe. Now I selected a previously recorded show and clicked Test that runs comskip and generates the txt/edl comskip files. 2) In my remote section I followed prev instructions and set up chapter skip for my skip buttons for fullscreen video and confirmed that skipping worked with fullscreen video but like others NOT when launched from RecordedTV so I went back into my remote section and changed the chapter skip from 'Fullscreen Video' to 'TVfullscreen' and then skipping worked fine when a recording was launched from Recorded TV (thats condition=Window selection=TVfullscreen + Action=Action selection=Prev Chapter). In my case I'm using my own x10 file I created from scratch a year ago for an RF MCE remote, posted here so it's been heavily modified/improved, unsure what the MP defs are. HOWEVER unfortunately for me though MP is jumping correctly to the times indicated in the comskip edl file the values comskip has calculated are totally wrong! :( . I was testing using a sky broadcast that has a logo during the program that disappears during ads, so thought it would work fine. I'm about to start googling to see if this can be improved but if anyone has any insight into getting it to work well with UK Freeview terrestrial I'm all ears. BTW the 'TV Server Config' app is locking up on me a lot. Previously used SVN from only about a month earlier and it never locked up! ---Here's my edl file (I've converted the seconds in edl file to mins:secs so I can jump to that pos in playback and see how wrong it is 196.72 266.80 0 3:16 - 4:26 393.76 474.48 0 6:33 - 7:54 998.60 1167.16 0 16:38 - 19:27 2207.68 2298.00 0 36:47 - 38:18 3797.72 3813.40 0 63:18 - 63:33 3948.24 3948.28 0 65:48 - 65:48 ads SHOULD BE HERE! (manual check) 16:39 - 21:14 41:20 - 45:56 etc...
