I am running an XP HTPC with MP 1.0.0.0 RC2 with comskip79_143, and streaming TV to a second XP machine elsewehere in the house. I've been experimenting over the past week (with just the HTPC at this stage) with ComSkip and am truly impressed with what it can do, and with the concept of integrating ComSkip's operation seamlessly with MP. I have followed the wealth of great advice in this thread and am now able to run a ComSkip test run perfectly (under the MPPlugins), generate VideRedo file for later editing, skip forward and backwards in both MyTV Recordings and MyVideos, but I still have two or three problems remaining that I just can't seem to solve (in order of frustration) - 1. I can't get ComSkip to launch automatically under the plugins. Have separately enabled and tried under both the TVService and the MP Launch plugins. Unfortunatley, the problem has NOT resolved itself (as it did for Jestermcgee), even after full HTPC reboots, starting and stopping the TV service, scheduling new recordings etc, etc. 2. VideoRedo can't find audio stream - On some recordings only (2/approx 10 so far), VideoRedo can't find the audio stream when I open the Vprj file. Oddly the .ts file I am trying to process plays fine if I open it without the VPrj file under VideoRedo and, as the error message suggests, just silence if I play the same file when the VPrj file is open. One of these two files was HD, the other just a regular SD broadcast on a different channel. 3. Under MP config for the ComSkip autolauncher plug-in, the software won't allow me to choose to start it at the end of a recording. This problem is not reflected under the TVService autolauncher plugin, although despite retaining the setting OK, it won't launch as described above. If I select that checkbox and select OK to close down MP Config, when I open it again I find that the launch at start of the recording has become checked again all by itself. Not yet sure of the benefits of start or end of recordings, but thought this might offer a clue as to what is going wrong in 1. above. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, MikeL
