    Hi,

hmm. Not much that i can tell. I do not use MOV files often, but those i did test, worked on my machine with Quicktime Alternative in WMP.

Which version of QTA do you use?

Any url to a sample, that causes problems?

    Hi there.....

    Thanks for the answer.....

I have just uploaded a sample, it is about 400kb......
    http://hjem.get2net.dk/pshdo/PICT1258.MOV

I Use QTA 1.6, from the link you gave me, as my version was older....
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/quicktime_alternative.cfm

Btw: The error i recive from WMP 10 is:
"Der kan ikke tildeles hukommelse, da der ikke er defineret nogen størrelse."

I´ll try to translate that  :
"There can not be given any memory, as the amount is not defined"

    Ok, i´m lost here..... :D

With the information that ti works for other people, i thought hey, i´ll try to find out what codec causes the problem, so i have now uninstalled all codec´s from the PC, QTA, RMA, Xvid, GPL, MPEG1/2, AVI and InterVideo.
Leaving only FFDshow in the PC together with PowerDVD 6 software.

And after a reboot i would try to see that WMP10 still didn´t work, and then go from there, but guess what, now WMP10 plays QuickTime .MOV files without any problems at all..... :?
Not even the icons are shown correct on the PC, and no play´er is assigned for .MOV files, but they work fine in WMP10......

So now i don´t know why, but hey that don´t really matter right now.....
(I kan think about why it works an other time.... )

    I got a simple answer:

    Install Quicktime 7.01
    Install Quicktime ALternative

Now, QT alternative warns that QT is installed, continue, and install ONLY the Directshow filter for QT movies.

And voila, I can view .mov in Media Portal, HD 720p files. I got a AMD 3200+ and a 720P gives me a 75% cpu load

This might be my solution needed also. I will need to try this later tonight.
