how to have multi channels accross network (1 Viewer)

Very new to MP i am using a hauppuage usb stick which can stream just 1 channel
i have successfully set up the mp client on two other pc's on my lan so if each computer plus the server wants to watch a different channel on the network would say the nova -t usb stick plus the nova -t 500 pci hauppauge do the job?
is it possible to timeshift from the clients as well?
loving mp soooo much easier than mythtv

Hi,

You can setup a Tv server with all your Tv tuners installed on this one machine. Create separate timeshift buffers for each Tv tuner card and connect your PCs to this server as MP TV Clients. You can now select a channel from any one of the Tv tuners that are available and no one is currently watch from. Have a look at the documentation and tips section from the main home page.

so if there was say a maximum of 20 channels on freeview just for theory purposes, and i had twenty users how many cards would i need. Is it possible for 1 dual tuner card to produce 20 streams that could have twenty people watching the same stream or 20 different streams. Sorry to be to inquisative but the iptv stuff is really interesting to me. knowledge is always a bonus
