I have an old PC (athlon 1500+ and ATI 9550) running MP. My stripped down XP boots in about 1 min (I am still trying to strip some more), after that MP takes around 20 sec to launch. I would like to shorten it as much as possible, my aim is to have MP ready within 1 min of pressing power button. I only need TV, video, DVD and music, not any of the other pluggins.
Is there anything I can do? is there a skin that loads faster?
