Hello,

i have mobo based on AMD 780G ATI HD3200 which is supposed to provide hardware acceleration but it not working.
I use driver catalyst 8.12 and codec cyberlink from PowerDVD 8. I have checked "hardware" option in the codec properties.
I try to watch a DVB-T H264 live HD streaming TV show.
Maybe i missed something else?

Any idea?

Are you using the VMR 9 video renderer? This is the only one that will offer HW acceleration in XP.

If that doesn't fix things, open the Media Portal Config, goto Advanced mode, click Television, Click TV Post Processing add the Cyberlink BD/HD Decoder press filter properties then make sure Use DXva is selected. Make sure you remove the codec from the post processing menu by double clicking it.
