How to make MCE Remotes work (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have an ordinary remote for MCE and a Microsoft keyboard for MCE. None of them works. But the remote that I got with the TV tuner card (TerraTec Cinergy C) works - more or less.

How do I make the Microsoft remote work? And can I do that using only the IR reciever that came with the tuner card?

You need to supply more info, like OS and the receiver you are using . (Do you have the MS receiver or only TerreTec one).

I'm running XP SP2. I only have the TerraTec receiver.

I would guess this is the problem. A IR receiver is not a "standard" thing - they differ in many ways.
