How to manage TV-recordings? (1 Viewer)

Maybe a silly question, but still:

What ways are there to manage your TV-recording collection?
For example:
- Setting your own name to a manual recording instead of "manual"
- Changing name on a recording from EPG
- Organizing recordings in folders and subfolders

I would allso like to know if there is a way to rename and manage your tv recordings that were done manualy. I don't have EPG so I'll be doing it all manualy. Please help I really don't know any more where to turn. I tried googling searchin thrue the forum and nothing. Help please.
