MediaPortal Version: latest release
MediaPortal Skin: standard
Windows Version: Windows XP
CPU Type: AMD Athlon64
Remote: Hauppauge 45 key

In a previous installation I had the #-key on my remote map to toggle fullscreen MP on/off when I was in the Home-screen.
But now I don't get it working again.
I tried the following:
# -> All Layers -> Window (Home) -> Action -> Show Fullscreen
# -> All Layers -> Window (Home) -> Action -> Toggle Windowed Fullscreen

I also tried it with other keys, but it won't work anymore. But I'm not sure that what I've done is the right way to do it.

Anybody know how I should do it? Thanks in advance!

Show GUI doesn't do the trick. I don't even know what it is supposed to do, but certainly not make the windowed MP fullscreen.

I just want a way to make the window fullscreen, just like alt-enter would do on a keyboard.

Ahum... I had it working in a previous install, but I accidentally pushed the back to defaults button. So it is possible, but can't figure out how...

But I've had it working with MP only. Maybe the code has changed in the svn release, from the latest official release?!

    Start Configuration.exe
    Go to general | Keys and sounds
    Click Global Actions
    Click Add
    Type "Toggle windowed/fullscreen" in description
    Select "ACTION_TOGGLE_WINDOWED_FULLSCREEN" from Action list
    Map to whatever button you like
    Optionally select a sound to play
    Click OK

    That should do the trick...

    Thanks for your help. With that action you gave, I could change my remote settings too (knowing where to look). So now my Hauppauge remote has an extra action in the Home screen to switch to fullscreen mode.

    Remote -> Hauppauge -> Mapping

    Hauppauge 45-button remote -> Home -> All Layers

    Press "New" with the following parameters:
    Condition: Windows = Home
    Action: Toggle Windows Fullscreen
