hi,

after houres of researching and eleminating issues, that i had with stutting playback, i finally found a solution to my problems and everything is running perfectly now...

almost! :)

to put it in a nutshell: i have written a .bat to change my catalyst profile, wait 10 seconds, start mediaportal, choose another catalystprofile after mediaportal is closed. working like a charm so far, but i can't find a way to map the .bat i wrote to the startbutton of my mce remote.

so is this possible at all ? and furthermore is it possible to let the start (green) button behave like normal (ie switch to home screen) once mp is running ?

i did some research on this topic too, but am rather confused with replacementdriver with or without mcetray_mod, layers, moreplugins, registrycahnges, mce replacement plugin etc pp.

so a simple you "need this and that and configure it like that" step by step guide would be awesome

thanks in advance

as far as i know you want to the 'alternate driver' for the MCE remote then some software like EventGhost or IR server suite to map that button to your batch file
