How to play vob files (1 Viewer)

hey guys. iv'e got a music dvd installed on my pc. But i cant play it through MP. Iv'e gone to MP config and added the file name but still nothing. Im using LAV for my codecs and i cant seem to find anything in its config for vob files. Am i missing something or do i need another codec to play vob files.

I think usually you need to copy the whole folder structure (ie. VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders etc.) from the DVD and play the IFO files.

You could create a mkv file of the dvd with makemkv (trial can be downloaded for free).

mm1352000 is completely right.
A standard dvd holds AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders with ifo files.
You should rip the DVD file again correctly and everything will work like a charm

Handbrake is good for ripping DVD's. It is fast, free and deals with the whole DVD folder structure. It is what I use.
