Hi, I am new here, and probably did not read all FAQ carefully , however used search button for some time and did not find an answer for my question.

How do I capture already existing stream in internet (like WM9) and restream it locally in mine LAN (like I am acting as a Live TV stream server) . Buffer of 30 seconds would be the best.

What plugin should I use or how do I configure software to do this ? Is it possible at all ? Looks like everyone here is trying to use capture devices, but not too many people actually trying to restream other streams.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the info, could you please advise if any other solution exist (commerical ot free).

Thank you.

VLC can do that.

There you can open a stream from the internet, and then (recode if nessesary) push it up your network. With some extra effort you can even change the channels remotely

Thanks for the info, is there any plugins used and any tricks in configuring the VLC, so I can capture multiple streams and puch them over my LAN .

Thanks a lot !
