Thought there are some people out there who could use that like me!
So First be sure to activate "Resume from S3 with USB Keyboard/Mouse" in your BIOS. (if there is no option, maybe an BIOS Upgrade is necessary)
After that, controll for Standby Options in Windows under Start/Turn Off Computer/Stand By (Orange Button) and Start/Control Panel/System/Power Options/System Standby
Next look for a "Power Management" Tab under Start/Control Panel/System/Device Manager/*The Device with wich you want to wake the PC up*/
No Tab there ? (Like in my case) Here comes the answer:
1. Open a CMD.EXE window.
2. Type the following command and press Enter.
reg ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usb /v USBBIOSx /t REG_DWORD /d 00000000 /f
And one restart later you should be done, an now can wake it up with your remote or whatever you want to use ...
Ah and there are some notes form M$:
NOTE: Installing a 3rd party USB host controller when the USBBIOSx Value Name exists may cause problems waking the computer through the 3rd party controller.
NOTE: Microsoft does NOT recommend adding this key and Value Name.
So do it on your own risk!
