Since I don't like having the large TV screen running during Music playback I have a second but smaller monitor attached to the HTPC. This monitor is VGA attached and is capable of full HD resolution. However this monitor does only allow 50Hz and 60Hz refreshrate. </p><p></p><p>So what I want to achieve is that the VGA monitor is powered during music playback, the TV is running for TV and video playback. Especially for BD stuff I like the automatic refreshrate change to 24p, however this does only work when the VGA monitor is disabled in windows, powering it off is not sufficient. :-( </p><p></p><p>I was thinking of running a nice litte "DisplaySwitch.exe" command to disable or enable the VGA stuff.
