Hi all,

does anybody know if that is possible?

I am having:
- Hauppauge Remote
- external Settop Box (D-Box for Premiere in Germany)
- I did setup HCW IR Blaster to switch channels - working perfectly!

Now my question: can I somehow use IR Blaster to send commands to the box besides of the normal channel switching?

My problem is that for some channels (Premiere Direkt and Premiere Sport) I have to do additional selections with the ORIGINAL D-Box Remote (which is annoying ... I want ONE remote). For example navigate to the right sub-channel for Formula1.

All of the selections are done with the coloured buttons (yellow, red, etc) and with "Up" and "Down".

A possible scenario would be:
- using Hauppauge remote for normal MP navigation ...
- now I switch to a STB channel using IR Blaster
- now I need to do an additional STB command:
-- I press a certain key that brings me in a "special remote modus"
-- now my key presses are fired to the IR Blaster and not given to MP
-- I am done and press the special key again to go back to the normal modus

I know there would be the possibility to use a "Multi Device Remote" (or however those are called). But I don't like that.
