How to Setup IMON-Remote for MP? (1 Viewer)

What are the ways to control MP with IMON remote?
Actualy I have installed the IMON Software and mapped all the MP buttons to the imon software.

Is there a way to get the remote to work without the imon software?

I also have the RM200 remote control working with both windows and mediaportal flawlessly.
After translating the German side of the forums (google translate & babelfish), I started to make headway into the solutions. (the german side of the forums have a lot of solutions to things that are not translated).

I also found this guide that simply WORKS (beatifully):

proving those kiwis know a thing or two about mediaportal and imon too!

I tried the IRSS server stuff, and it also works in recognizing the RM200 commands. But I prefer to have the Antec imon application to control the RM200, being the original software. I have the Antec Veris Elite add-on solution. I re-did my Imon install from the CD and told it to not install the HD software, just the imon manager. I also did a little batch file that starts mediaportal.exe, waits 5 seconds, and then restarts the imon.exe application. This is because when mediaportal.exe starts, the focus of imon (and IRSS) is lost and therefore the remote commands does not work. My little batchfile takes care of that by restarting the imon manager after mediaportal. I have it setup so the batch file runs at startup, minimized and with no output. And it works.

Now I have the HTPC closer to behaving as an appliance instead of a PC. I even mapped one of the RM200 buttons to turn off (powersave) the monitor, for those times when I am interested in only listening to music. I also mapped another button to access the basic home screen in streamedmp
