Not able to change the state of the HID service Greetings from the other side of the Atlantic!! I just got my MCE remote today and was following along in your guide. Impressive!! I have been a long time MPC user and just built a new HTPC with Vista and was pleasantly surprise to see the MediaPortal has improved greatly in the last few years. So I'm making the switch to MP Streamer, but still in transition from MPC. My MCE remote works fine with MP. BTW - why do you need to use MPC from MP? With MPC-HT I can not get the MCE to work. When I open mp_mpc_v1.xml in EventGhost (0.3.6.1487) I get: "The plugin was not able to change the state of the HID service. You must be logged in as Administrator to change the state." and a whole lot of red errors on the left side of EventGhost. My OS is Vista Ultimate 64. When I try the MCE remote with MPC a few things work (like stop) but not much. Thanks a million for any help you can provide. -sh
