Hi BuUrMaN I didn't write the instructions - that's way out of my league - Oxy's the man for that, however I had a similar problem - see post #49 for detals but basically I found that EventGhost took control of my Harmony One remote (running with an MCE receiver) - seemed to overwrite all its functionality and I had to abandon MP (albeit temporarily) - my HTPC set-up just wasn't functional without access to the Harmony. I revisited the forums and found the following thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-external-players-55/how-set-up-mpc-hc-work-mp-remote-53147/ which solved my problem. To return to your post Prior to unistalling the EventGhost software I had to uncheck the HID box, right click the MCE plug-in in EventGhost and open up the properties, uncheck the HID box and save (I don't have the software installed, so I'm quoting from memory). This should return all controls back to your MCE remote. If you have also enabled MPtray, remember and uninstall to allow use of MCE, if required (ProgramFiles/Team MediaPortal/MediaPortal/mptray_uninstall.bat). If you are going to continue use of MP, this step isn't necessary. I have returned to the MP fold, as a result of the thread quoted previously amd found it to be a more user friendly way to set-up MPC-HC use by remote. This will only work I think if you use MPC (either classic or -HC), don't know if the other applications have the option to 'map' keystrokes as MPC does. Hope this helps.
