How to tweak / set Purevideo settings? (1 Viewer)

I got a EN7600 Nvidia card, which does support Purevideo.
I downloaded and installed it..

I made sure MP is using that codec. The picture is fine, but I guess there must be setting like gamma/brightness etc.. But I do not know where.

I have no taskbar icon, also not when I use WMP as the video player..
Nothing shows up..

Well you can check what is being used outside of MP (in MP if you select them in setup, it will choose them and not rely on codec merit) by using graphedit. Just goto File->Render media file and choose an MPEG2 file. If its setup right it will use Nvidia codecs. Most of the time though the MPV/MPA codecs seem to take priority.

You can then right click on the Nvidia filters and click properties and anything you change there will be used in the future. Not very many 'tweaks' though mind you, only some colour correction and deinterlacing.

Ok that is nice..
Thought there were more features. And many people were talking about a tray icon. But there does not show up any. So I got confused.

Hi,
The tray icon appears when you play a dvd or other source with surround sound (open MP in Window mode select a DVD & if you use nvidia codec's the icon appears in tray).

Ahh! I thought it would appear when the Nvidia Pure VIDEO decoder is selected and allow some tweaking

Since the last patches the "nv tray icon" appears just with live-tv (not with timeshift on or video playback)...
