How to use FAAC (FAAD2) w/MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

The Freeware Advanced Audio Coder seem to be able to do what we need here in Norway; handle HE-AAC sound for DVB-T (MPEG4).

It seems that this will work for Winam etc, but how can I make it work in MP?

Looks like that could work for us in New Zealand as well, our AVC / AAC dvb-t has launched, no joy in MP yet, first frame shows up, then nothing after that. Turning off the audio from the stream plays perfect (audioless) video.

Good to know that we Norwegian are not alone on this one There are several threads about this - with suggestions to codecs to use. I know that TerraTec has included a DS filter for this w/their SW (you can get it buy buying their Piranha (<- spell check) DVB-T card.
