How to use FanArt? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i would like to know, how to use the FanArt Backgrounds? Where do i have to copy the *jpgs?
I search for about 1h, but cant get it to work. Can somebody hook me up?

And my second Question is, can i use every Skin, or just some special skins that support thos FanArt BGs?

C:\Program Files\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Fan Art
put the fan art files there.
Also read the skin info for support for Fan Art.
I use Monochrome and PM3

Also make sure you use the latest SVN...

i dont have a folder called thumbs in my c:/program files/team mediaportal/Mediaportal
should i create one?

i use newest MP+SVN+Monochrom Skin

One thing nobody mentioned, Fan Art folder not created automatically.

Only just found this out myself, or am i missing something.

i tried it, but there is no Thumbs folder in it. Can you tell me the install process of the plugin?

i started with:

1. install MediaPortal (newest)
2. install MediaPortal SVN (newest)
3. install Monochrome Skin
4. install My TVSeries (MPI)
5. Configure My TVSeries
6. ?

What is the next step? Cause the My TVSeries Plugin does not create a Thumbs Folder automatically.

weird. with vista there are usually 2 mediaportal folders created: one in program files, the other one in programdata. and within programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal there should be the thumbs folder. the thumbs folder is normally created during mediaportal installation, not the tv plugin installation.
if you haven´t tried yet, maybe you could simply do a search for the thumbs folder?
